Job DescriptionLevel 1 technician (helper) with not much telecom experience. The hiring manager wants someone who is trainable with experience working a physically demanding job in the past. Work ethic and attitude are the main thing they are looking for as they will be working at a data center. Dependability and attendance are crucial as well.Key Responsibilities: Pull and route cabling throughout the data center Assemble, stack, and drill racks Scan, label and port equipment, use a computer to document locations/part numbers Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced techniciansAdditional Required Attributes:1. Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)2. Strong work ethic and positive attitude3. Reliable attendance history4. Hands on electrical or military experience is highly valued5. Must be able to work on ladders and lifts

Additional Skills & QualificationsIdeal personality profile is a hard worker who wants to grow with an organization, who is honest, and reliable. There is a lot of growth opportunity and looking for people who want to be leaders. This will most likely be a long term contract with the ability to go direct as an FTE of Vision Technology once headcount becomes available. This position will stay at $20/hr and could increase if the person moves into a leadership position, but not guaranteed under contract until an FTE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
