  • Create basic domestic trucking shipments in the company's TMS, including shipper, consignee, pickup and delivery information, equipment type, commodity, weight, dimensions, and other required shipment details.

  • Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in the TMS and ensure required fields and documentation are completed.

  • Create basic shipment records, rate confirmations, pickup information, and other transportation documentation as required.

  • Coordinate with operations and dispatch to ensure quoted shipments are properly set up and ready for execution.

  • Support the setup and coordination of international shipments, including gathering required shipment information and documentation.

  • Work with carriers, steamship lines, airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers as needed.

  • Verify shipment details, rates, and accessorial charges before releasing shipments to operations or dispatch.

  • Monitor freight rates, capacity, transit times, and market conditions for domestic and international transportation.

  • Maintain accurate customer, carrier, pricing, and shipment information in the TMS/CRM.

  • Resolve pricing discrepancies and respond to customer questions regarding quotes and transportation options.

  • Coordinate with sales, operations, customer service, and accounting to ensure accurate and profitable shipments.

  • Maintain profitability while providing competitive and service-focused transportation solutions.

  • Meet established response-time, accuracy, and performance goals.

  • Working knowledge of domestic and international transportation.

  • Understanding of freight rates, lanes, equipment types, transit times, and transportation terminology.

  • Familiarity with FTL, LTL, air, ocean, intermodal, and expedited freight is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of international shipping processes and documentation is preferred.

  • Experience creating or managing shipments in a TMS or transportation software.
