Baer is looking for Oracle Apex Developer for a 7-month Federal remote Project

Title: Oracle Apex Developer

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)

Duration: 7 months (December Start Date)

Rate: All-inclusive

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Overview:

We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer with 3–5 years of experience to develop, enhance, and modernize enterprise applications by migrating legacy .NET functionality to Oracle APEX. The role involves building APEX pages and UI components, developing SQL/PL/SQL logic, integrating REST APIs, and ensuring application performance, security, and data accuracy. The developer will collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, QA, and technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions within an Agile environment.

• Develop Oracle APEX pages, forms, interactive reports, grids, dynamic actions, and workflows.
\n
• Migrate legacy .NET application functionality and business rules to Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
\n
• Create and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, validations, and application processes.
\n
• Integrate APEX applications with REST APIs, ORDS services, and backend data sources.
\n
• Collaborate with data and ETL teams to validate data accuracy and optimize SQL queries.
\n
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance, page loading, and user interactions.
\n
• Implement secure coding practices and follow authentication, authorization, and data protection standards.
\n
• Customize UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, themes, and templates.
\n
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment materials, and application support runbooks.
\n
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with development, QA, business, UI/UX, and architecture teams.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
\n
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, APEX pages, dynamic actions, interactive reports/grids, and page processes.
\n
• Experience integrating REST APIs, ORDS services, and backend data sources.
\n
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI customization.
\n
• Experience with application debugging, troubleshooting, SQL performance tuning, and data validation.
\n
• Experience with application modernization and migration, preferably from legacy .NET to Oracle APEX.
\n
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
\n
• Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with developers, QA, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
\n
• Familiarity with OCI, Oracle Autonomous Database, APEX plug-ins, themes, templates, and reusable UI components.
\n
• Exposure to AI/GenAI integration, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for APEX deployments.
\n

Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
